“Caribbean Cargo D.C. planned and executed my entire move from Silver Spring, MD to the Commonwealth of Dominica in November, 2009. This move entailed an entire household of furniture and personal effects packed, transported to the shipping dock in Baltimore, and loaded onto a container vessel. From start to finish, the staff at CCDC acted in a timely and efficient manner. I first contacted the office approximately two months before my scheduled move. One of the managers came to my home and estimated exactly what it would take for the move to have a smooth and happy ending. One issue which made my move stand out was the fact that I had several large wall-sized mirrors which I needed removed from my wall and packed. I also had many glass table tops which needed to be properly packed. CCDC had a contractor make a large custom crate for the safe transport of all my mirrors, glass table tops, and paintings. To be honest, there was one broken mirror when my articles arrived in Dominica but that’s not bad at all considering how many of my items were breakable. The evening before moving day the Manager and his staff came to my home and helped me pack various items I was having problems with getting packed. They had solutions for things that I had no clue as to how to pack. The got the mattresses and sofas wrapped and ready to go. Moving day went smoothly and they were in and out at the exact times which had been approximated. They brought with them all the packing tape, boxes, and wrapping materials needed. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and caring attitude that CCDC displayed to me. I would highly recommend them for use in planning your move to the Caribbean. I would use them again if I had to!”
