A Guyana native, Owen Couchman recently relocated to the Washington, D.C. metro area from Little Elm, Texas. Owen joins Caribbean Cargo DC (CCDC) as the IT Support Specialist and will be leading the training program for CCDC’s new data management & CRM platform.
Owen previously worked at Dr. Pepper Snapple Group as a Merchandiser and later with Coca-Cola SouthWest. Owen’s professional experience also includes roles overseeing project teams and serving as a technical support officer. He is a certified and knowledgeable IT Trainer certified in CompTIA A+, MTA Networking Fundamentals, MTA Mobile and Devices Fundamentals, Comtia Mobility+, Comtia Server+, and Microsoft Windows 7 Configuration.
With his new role at CCDC, Owen will oversee the office infrastructure and will serve as the main point of contact for IT support and technical inquiries. Owen can relate to CCDC’s commitment to maintaining customer trust and being the most reliable shipping partner to the Caribbean and Central America from the Mid-Atlantic. His high standards are contagious – he makes those around him want to work harder. Professional and compassionate, Owen treats every customer like they are part of the CCDC family.
When he is not supporting the CCDC Admin Team, Owen can be found lending a hand to the CCDC Warehouse Team and greeting customers who come to pack their cargo for shipment at the CCDC corporate headquarters in Lanham, Maryland.
