Caribbean Cargo DC is incredibly lucky to have an amazing intern join on our team this Spring! We would like to also thank the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation for providing us this new intern.

Today, we turn the spotlight on our new intern to learn a little bit about who she is and what she is learning as an intern at Caribbean Cargo DC.

Where are you from?

I am born and raised in Clinton, Maryland.

 

Where are you at school?

I graduated from Chelsea School: Class of 2016.

 

Did you always want to be in the Shipping industry?

I actually want to be in the hospitality industry but I’m using this internship as a milestone and learning how to work in an office setting.

Thus far, what’s your favorite part of your Caribbean Cargo DC internship?

My favorite part so far is building in invoices to generate customer orders for the different shipping destinations in the Caribbean and Central America.

 

What has been your favorite moment during your internship so far?

I am learning from the ground up when it comes to working in an office setting. I would have to say that learning something new every time I come in the office is very rewarding!
