Caribbean Cargo DC Resumes Discount for Hurricane Reconstruction
Local Shipping Company Offers 15% Cargo Discount to Hurricane Disaster Areas
Lanham, MD (January 25, 2018) – The 2017 hurricane season in the Caribbean concluded with Category 4 Hurricanes devastating the islands of Puerto Rico, The U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Maarten/St. Martin, Antigua and Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos, and The Commonwealth of Dominica. Hurricanes Irma and Maria left record damage to these Caribbean islands in their wake. Reconstruction is in full force and will take months, if not years, to complete.
As part of the Caribbean Business Alliance (CBA) initiative, Caribbean Cargo DC (CCDC) continues support of the Caribbean community. The shipping company acknowledges the Washington D.C. area’s influx of outgoing shipments to the Caribbean and resumes its hurricane reconstruction discount with an offer of 15% off cargo shipments to disaster areas.
CCDC often provides support to NGOs, churches and embassies. Continuing in this tradition, the Lanham-based logistics and freight shipping company extends its support for individuals shipping to family members still in dire need of assistance.
CCDC has established this special hurricane reconstruction discount, which can be applied at the time of shipping, for cargo shipped from the U.S. to select Caribbean destinations.
To redeem the discount, CCDC customers should go to www.CaribbeanCargoDC.com, visit the CCDC headquarters in Lanham, Maryland.
The special shipping rates will be available for booked and scheduled shipments beginning February 1 through June 30. The discount applies to CCDC loose cargo and freight services.
