Are customer liable for undeclared or mis-declared cargo?
Customers shipping with Caribbean Cargo DC (CCDC) are responsible for declaring the accurate value of their cargo. Customs regulations mandate precise declarations to ensure smooth transit and compliance. CCDC shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from delays or inaccuracies in the declaration.

Are there any required fees?
Wrap/Strap Fees for boxes cannot be declined. Apt fees must be paid for pickup and drop-off request. Insurance is required for all cargo. Overweight fees apply to cargo over 300 lbs.

How do I calculate insurance fees?
The following coverage options will be available for purchase and added to shipping fees:
- $10 fee on invoiced shipments valued at up to $500 — $100 deductible
- $50 fee on invoiced shipments valued from $501 to $2,499 — $200 deductible
- 3% fee on invoiced shipments valued at $2,500 or more — $500 deductible

What is an Annual Peak Season Surcharge?
Annual Peak Season Surcharge (September thru December): Invoices will be charged 5 – 10% of total ocean freight charges. The surcharge fee will remain in effect for all invoices created during the peak season even if the customer reschedules for after the peak season.
Is there a late payment fee?
Late Payment: 10% Admin Fee will be applied to invoice for cargo that has not been paid at time of arrival to destination.
Do you offer a special rate for charities and nonprofits?
Qualified Charities and Nonprofits receive 10% Discount of Standard Rates. For more information visit our PROMOTIONS page. Promotional offers may not be combined with other promos, discounts, or coupons. Only one promotional offer can be applied per transaction within a 30-day period.
