Large Volume Shipments to Jamaica

Important Notice for Customers with Large Volume Shipments Dear Valued Customers, As we approach the Peak Season, we want to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all our Caribbean Cargo DC (CCDC) customers. If you have a large volume of items to ship, please consider whether you will be clearing your shipments under the Returning Resident Scheme. If so, it is essential to begin the application process before shipping your cargo. Starting the documentation process early will enable faster clearance upon arrival in Jamaica. You can find more information and begin your application on the Jamaica Customs website :http://www.jacustoms.gov.jm. Given the annual congestion during this time, our goal is to expedite the clearance of aged cargo to make room for current and upcoming shipments. Applying for the concession after your shipment has arrived can cause further delays. Therefore, CCDC will be screening shipments for customers shipping containers and large volumes to Jamaica to streamline the process for faster clearance. This update comes per an urgent notice from our at-destination shipping partner, Combined Freight Forwarders, for Montego Bay, Freeport, and St. James, Jamaica. Together, we can make this process work for mutual benefit. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Best regards, Caribbean Cargo DC Team
