Caribbean Cargo DC is looking to hire an Inside Sales Rep for our Lanham, Maryland headquarters in Prince George’s County. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and possess excellent customer service skills. The Inside Sales Rep will also possess a proven track record of sales experiences while working in a fast-paced environment. Our The ideal candidate will have superb communication skills and a dependable member of our team. This position supports sales and is a primary point-of-contact for our customers, reporting directly to our Sales GM. You will process and manage customer orders via, fax, phone, e-mail, and input orders using our customer management software to generate invoices. This includes order entry, scheduling service requests and updating customer accounts.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with warehouse and office team to close and keep record of sales
Handle inbound customer calls while maintain department objectives
Data-entry to maintain customer files and current customer accounts
Support delivery drivers during customer deliveries, when needed
Stay up to date with service offering, policies, and procedures
Establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships
Ensure timely shipments by reviewing schedule availability
Resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
Perform other job responsibilities as needed
Job Requirements:
Maintaining and developing strong business relationships with customers, clients and population served
Communicating daily with customers to update orders and inquiries, while observing market trends
Providing quotes as requested by customer to ensure high level of customer service
Scheduling orders, processing payments, and coordinating scheduling requests
Preparing sales reports to provide information to other department staff
Following up on outstanding invoices to secure payments from customers
Managing claims and complaints with customers on a timely basis
Working a weekly full-time shift with alternating weekend work
Advanced proficiency in English, Microsoft Office Suite
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong Customer Service and negotiation skills
Meet or exceed all performance goals

Specific Qualifications Include
- Must at least possess a high school diploma or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years of proven inside sales experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
