The Caribbean Cargo DC Team provides this update to remind all valued customers of the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on exports. This includes delays at some destinations due to customs office procedural limitations regarding the final release and delivery of cargo & freight.
We remain open as an essential business to serve customers need from the Mid-Atlantic region. As advised in an earlier update, and until further notice, our limited office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 am to 3 pm & Saturday through Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.
Rest assured that all shipments to the Caribbean, Central and South America are being dispatched according to our published 2020 Shipping Calendar with no change to estimated arrival dates. However, this does not include any potential delays in release of your cargo once it reaches its final destination.
We encourage you to reach out to our Customer Service Representatives with your invoice number to obtain additional information on ports that may have unexpected restrictions on the number of clients served per day or require appointments to clear and release cargo from the respective customs offices.
